Editorial policy

Every comparison should help a real person make a better decision. If a page doesn't do that — because it's vague, out of date, or wrong — it has failed, regardless of how it reads. These are the standards we hold ourselves to in service of that goal.

Our comparisons are drafted with AI assistance (Anthropic's Claude models) and structured to a consistent format. We disclose this openly rather than passing the content off as hand-written. You can read exactly how a page is produced on our how it works page.

• We link to reference sources — official pages, docs, reviews, pricing — so claims can be verified, and we check that those links resolve.
• We prefer hedged, honest language over precise figures we can't stand behind, especially for fast-changing details like price.
• We treat prices and specs as time-sensitive. The date a comparison reflects is tied to when it was generated or last refreshed, not to today's calendar.

Each comparison ends with a verdict about who should choose which option. That verdict is derived from the comparison itself. It is never influenced by whether an option carries an affiliate link or pays a higher commission. Monetization and recommendation are kept strictly separate.

Some pages include affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when you buy or sign up through them. This costs you nothing extra and helps fund the site. Affiliate relationships never buy a better verdict, a higher score, or more favorable framing.

When we learn a page is wrong, we fix it — usually by regenerating the comparison with corrected grounding. If you spot an error, email hello@versuscenter.com with the page and the problem, and we'll review it. We'd rather be corrected than be confidently wrong.
